Motifab is a desktop app for Mac with Apple silicon and Windows; it doesn’t run on this device. Open this page on your computer to download it.

After the click

  1. Open Qepe-1.0.1-arm64.dmg and drag Motifab to Applications.
  2. Open Motifab. macOS asks once whether to open an app from the internet: click Open.
  3. Create your Motifab account and start the 15-day trial. No card needed.

  2. If Windows says “Windows protected your PC”, click More info, then Run anyway.

  1. Your account

    Made when Motifab first opens: your e-mail and a password, or a code we e-mail you. No card.

  2. 15 days, everything on

    Export included, with 300 AI credits to try. One trial per account and per computer.

  3. Your first logo

    Open it and set the size, the fabric and the colours. The Auto Digitizer makes the first version; Quality says what to look at.

  4. Your machine

    Export DST, PES or one of eight more formats. Motifab reads the file back before it saves it.

  • Motifab

    The app, in eight languages: English, German, French, Italian, Albanian, Turkish, Serbian and Spanish.

  • The embroidery engine

    Stitches are made on your computer, so your customers’ artwork stays there. Nothing else to install.

  • Machines and hoops

    Ten machine formats and 13 machine families, with 69 hoops: round from 9 to 30 cm, rectangles up to 40 × 50 cm, cap frames, and your own.

  • Fonts and thread charts

    151 Motifab Fonts digitized for embroidery, 52 popular logo typefaces, and 75 thread charts from Madeira, Isacord, Gunold, Robison-Anton and more.

  • Licences

    Every component and font with its licence, in Help › Licences.
